Events are our forte. In 2024, Waste Wise partnered with a local festival to set up the first of its kind, compostable bins. Since the plastic tableware ban in Hong Kong, “Compostables” bins are an extremely efficient way to increase quantity and quality of recycling, making recycling easy and effective.

Data Analytics & Reporting

At Waste Wise, we document and weigh every bin we collect. Waste data is summarized in an impact report for our clients, highlighting key metrics along with our insights and recommendations.

Our system captures essential information, such as precise pick-up locations, timestamps, bin weights, and waste types (such as food, compostables, paper, plastic, etc.). We utilize this data to improve logistical routes and target our educational programs on waste seperation, ensuring that our focus is on the right areas in Hong Kong.

Education & Gamification

Waste Wise offers both online and in-person training sessions on waste separation and other essential processes for events. All training programs are led by Waste Wise management, with regular observations conducted throughout each project. 

We collaborate closely with our clients to integrate gamification elements that incentivize recycling and make the process enjoyable. Our programs include recycling lucky draws, leaderboards, and friendly competitions.

Recycling Services

We collect, sort, and transport various types of recyclable waste from our clients to partner recycling facilities in Hong Kong. At our facility, we sort the collected materials to minimize contaminants, ensuring that we deliver high-quality recyclables to our partners. 

All of our recycling partners are based in Hong Kong, where they process and upcycle recyclable waste locally. The resulting recycled pellets are either utilized in Hong Kong to create new products or shipped to factories for manufacturing.
